Zune HD Confirmed By Microsoft

Microsoft announces an update to their Zune device - Zune HD. The name is a little misleading because I was expecting a high-def screen like Touch HD. Instead the HD in Zune HD is not referring to the screen. Instead it's referring to the built-in HD Radio receiver that provides higher quality audio compared to normal radio. Then there's HD video output (720p) via an optional HDMI dock.
The screen is a 3.3-inch, 16:9 widescreen OLED display with a resolution of 480x272 pixels. It may seem a little low, but I guess it's still acceptable considering the size of the device. I don't think HD video would look any better on a higher resolution screen on such a small device.
